PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), and PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP) have received recognition at the Indonesian Sustainable Development Awards (ISDA) 2024 for their commitment to implementing sustainable corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs that positively impact society and the environment. This year’s theme, “Toward Sustainable Business Excellence,” emphasizes the importance of sustainability in all aspects of business operations. The Corporate Forum for CSR Development (CFCD) organized the event in collaboration with the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) and the Coordinating Economic Affairs. The event occurred on November 28, 2024, at the Raffles Hotel in Jakarta.
“This award motivates us to strengthen our commitment to integrating sustainability principles into every Company’s program that we run. With the spirit of collaboration and innovation, we will continue to support achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs) for a better future,” said Himawan Sutanto, UT’s Corporate Social Responsibility Manager.
In this event, UT received two awards in the Platinum category for the UT Fostered School (SOBAT) program and the Silver category for the UniTy Village Empowerment program. Meanwhile, KPP Mining also received two awards in the Gold category for the Gen Smart program in the KPP Mining Jobsite BDMA area and the Silver category for the Local Farmer Economic Development program in the KPP Mining Jobsite RANT area.
Next, PAMA received seven awards in the Platinum category for the Posyandu Plus program. Then, five Gold category awards for the implementation of community-based Green CSR through the Climate Village Program, the PAMA Sepinggan Balikpapan Airport Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Gallery, the PAMA BAYA Fostered Women’s Micro, SMEs development program, the Sempekat Sempawat Cooperative, and the Mess 17 PAMA BRCB Organic Waste Management. In the Silver category, PAMA received an award for its stunting prevention program through Local Food-Based Stunt Food for Risked Stunting Toddlers and Handling the Stunting in Toddlers.
In addition, PTAR also received seven awards, namely in the Platinum category for the stunting prevention program through Foster Parents for Stunting Children, Revitalization of Integrated Health Posts, and Mobile Health Services. Furthermore, it received four Gold awards for the Support program for Women’s Groups through Culinary and Make-Up Artist (MUA) Training, Revitalization of Lubuk Larangan Customs to Preserve Jurung Fish, Coaching Talented Young Athletics in Local Communities, and Improving Quality through Infrastructure Development. Then, two awards in the Silver category are the Media Relations (Media Capacity Building) program and the PTAR Olympiad (OlympiAR). PAMA and PTAR were named The Top Corporate Leadership on SDGs and The Most Committed Corporate To SDGs on Social Pillar this year.
The indicators in this award include a commitment to sustainability in the Company’s programs and policies, the impact given to stakeholders, and the performance of CSR activities, including implementation, monitoring, and sustainability. This award involves several stages in the assessment process, from submitting documents through paper submission to program presentation before the CFCD assessment committee.
This award is concrete evidence of the UT Group’s commitment to social responsibility activities that support business success and create positive changes for society and the environment by implementing sustainable development goals (SDGs). The company hopes to inspire other companies to contribute to achieving the SDGs through the comprehensive implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) in its programs.
