Jakarta, January 27th,2023 – For the 2nd time, UT Group won the best mosque and prayer room in the Company office area at the 2022 Amaliah Astra Award. This award has been held twice to appreciate the best mosque and prayer room within the Astra Group for professional and responsible management.
The achievements at this event prove that UT Group has a high commitment in managing mosques and prayer rooms properly, as well as giving positive impact to the various social activities that have been carried out, as a form of the ESG principles (Environmental, Social, and Governance) implementation around the UT Group’s business operational areas.
Amaliyah Astra Award is an attempt to realize the ideals of worship and work as a professional Muslim by Yayasan Amaliyah Astra (YAA). This year there were 144 mosques and prayer rooms participating in the Amaliah Astra Award within 73 Astra Group companies from 17 provinces in Indonesia with three categories, large mosques, medium mosques, and prayer rooms located in head office area, branches, factory areas, and site area.
“There are five important things that need to be considered to deliver better and more prosperous mosques and prayer rooms. These five things become an assessment in Amaliah Astra Awards relating to social and volunteering activities, administrative and financial management, management of facilities and infrastructure, as well as carrying out worship activities,” said Gita Tiffani Boer, Chairman of the YAA Board of Trustees.
