Due to its consistent in implementing good mining principles, PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP Mining), PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), and the group of PT Tuah Turangga Agung (Turangga Resources)—subsidiaries of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT)—received the Good Mining Practices (GMP) Award 2024 from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The UT Group was awarded for its successful business management, which applies the principles of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG). The awards were personally presented by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, during the celebration of the 78th Anniversary of Mining and Energy at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources in Jakarta on September 25, 2024.
At this event, in the Mining Services License Holders category, PAMA received GMP awards in three categories: Aditama, Utama, and Pratama. The Aditama category was awarded to PAMA Site SMM and PAMA Site INDO. Meanwhile, in the Utama category, the winners were PAMA Site ABB, PAMA Site MTBU, PAMA Site TCM, PAMA Site BEKB, and PAMA Site KIDE. In the Pratama category, the awards went to PAMA Site BRCG and BRCB, PAMA Site ARIA, and PAMA Site KPCB – KPCS.
Furthermore, KPP Mining received the Utama award for Standardization and Mineral and Coal Mining Services Management. Meanwhile, in the Business Licensing Group for Metallic Mineral Commodities, PTAR received the Utama award for Standardization and Mining Services Management and Mining Safety Management, which was accepted directly by PTAR President Director Muliady Sutio.
PTAR also won the Aditama award in Mineral and Coal Mining Technical Management, Environmental Management, and Mining Conservation Management. It also received the Utama award for Standardization, Mining Services Management, and Mining Safety Management. Moreover, it achieved two top trophies in the mineral mining industry, including the Best Environmental Management and Mining Conservation Management in the metallic mineral sector.
Meanwhile, Turangga Resources Group, with PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), was awarded the Aditama award for Technical and Environmental Management of Mineral and Coal Mining. ABB also won the Utama award for Mining Safety Management, Mining Conservation Management, and Standardization and Mining Services Management.
In addition, PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SPM) received the Aditama award for Technical Management of Mineral and Coal Mining, Mining Conservation Management, and Standardization and Mining Services Management. SPM also won the Utama award for Environmental Management of Mineral and Coal Mining and the Pratama award for Mining Safety Management.
PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP) also successfully secured the Utama award for the aspect of Mining Conservation Management, the Pratama award for Technical Management of Mineral and Coal Mining, and the Pratama award for Mining Safety Management.
These awards further motivate the UT Group to continuously implement safe and responsible mining practices to support sustainable management. This aligns with the Company’s commitment to preserving the environment and addressing various challenges through ESG implementation principles in its operational areas.
