As part of its commitment to environmental preservation, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) organizes a Voluntary Day event, a community cleanup activity in the RW 06 area of Cakung Barat, on December 21, 2024. The event involves participants from UT School, residents, and the Public Infrastructure and Facilities Management (PPSU) officers of DKI Jakarta, totaling 50 participants. Through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program under United Tractors for Emergency Response and Action (UTACTION), UT initiates this activity to raise awareness about the importance of environmental cleanliness and disaster risk mitigation.
The event commences with an opening speech from Hariyanti, Acting Head of the Cakung Barat Subdistrict, who emphasizes the importance of collaboration between the community, companies, and the government in maintaining environmental cleanliness and reducing disaster risks. The activities include sweeping streets, cleaning drainage systems, and removing waste that could block water flow in the area. These efforts aim to minimize the risk of flooding. This initiative aims to raise public awareness of the importance of maintaining a clean environment. Through the UTACTION program, UT focuses on post-disaster recovery and preventive measures to mitigate potential impacts. This aligns with the company’s commitment to sustainability and community empowerment.
