United Tractors Supports Universitas Brawijaya Apatte62 Team’s Exhibition and Sharing Session Related to Environmentally Friendly Vehicle Innovation

Jakarta, December 13th,2022 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) provides support to the Apatte62 team at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) to conduct an exhibition and sharing session related to environmentally friendly vehicles at the UT Head Office. The support provided by UT is a form of implementation of AHEMCE Sustainability Aspiration 2030 included in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) stream 3, namely Emission Reduction.

The Apatte62 team is a group of 30 students from UB who have a dream to develop cleaner world by innovating energy-efficient cars. This is in line with UT’s commitment to delivering various efforts to reduce carbon emissions. UT through the UT Inspiring Youth program provides support for the Apatte62 Team to realize their dreams by creating various innovations and participating in championship events.

Due to the achievements at national and international events, the Apatte62 team has a lot of information and experience related to environmentally friendly vehicles. For this reason, this sharing session was explained directly by the Apatte62 team about 2 topics namely Recent Research, and Battery-Electric and Hydrogen for the future. Apart from that, UT employees also participated in discussions regarding this topic to look for things that UT could later collaborate with the Apatte62 team.

During this activity an exhibition was also held where the Apatte62 team presented the environmentally friendly car innovations that had been made, namely the urban concept battery electric vehicle with a range of 149.5 km/kWh and also the Hydrogen prototype with a range ofe of 361 km/M3. This environmentally friendly car that runs on hydrogen and electricity has participated in various national and international competitions. During the exhibition, the Apatte62 team explained directly to booth visitors consisting of UT employees and UT School students.

By holding exhibitions and sharing sessions, these environmentally friendly cars can increase knowledge for UT employees and UT School students. In addition, it is hoped that there will be collaboration to create innovations that can have a positive impact on society and the environment.
