United Tractors Provides Forklift Heavy Equipment Scheme Training and Certification in Kalibaru Subdistrict, North Jakarta

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program and UT vocational education institution (UT School), in collaboration with the Indonesian Heavy Equipment Professional Certification Institute (LSP ABI), organized a Forklift Heavy Equipment Scheme Training and Certification at SMK 36 Jakarta. This project intends to increase the community’s perspectives and practical abilities in Kalibaru Village, North Jakarta, which is close to the port and has a lot of loading and unloading activity.

This training was part of UT’s efforts to improve human resources competence in the heavy equipment sector, especially in the community around the Company’s operational area. The training took five days, starting from 23-27 September 2024, and continued with certification on 28 and 29 September 2024. This event occurred at SMK 36 Jakarta, one of the United Tractors Foster Schools (SOBAT), and was appointed the Competency Test Place (TUK). With this TUK, the reach of training and certification beneficiaries can be expanded, especially for the community around the Kalibaru area.

This event was attended by 19 people consisting of the surrounding community and students from SMKN 2 Setu; SMK 36 Jakarta; SMK Dinamika Pembangunan 1; SMKN 2 Setu; SMKN 1 Pusakanagara; and SMK Binakarya Mandiri Bekasi. It is hoped that this event will improve Indonesia’s human resources competence in heavy equipment. This is consistent with UT’s commitment to contribute to the welfare and sustainability of the community throughout its operational areas.
