United Tractors Holds Evaluation and Monitoring Program for Fostered School (SOBAT)

As a demonstration of the Company’s commitment to supporting vocational education in Indonesia, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) once again conducted monitoring and evaluation activities for UT Fostered Schools (SOBAT). This activity aims to ensure the guidance program runs efficiently by implementing a curriculum tailored to the technical industry’s needs, especially in heavy equipment. This activity was carried out at two schools, SMK Bina Bangsa Dampit and SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Kepanjen Malang, East Java, on (10/07/2024).

SOBAT Advisor Wikan Sakarinto and the SOBAT supervisory team from UT Head Office, Jakarta, attended the event. The main focus of this monitoring and evaluation program is to strengthen the Teaching Factory (TeFa) at both schools so that students can gain direct work experience by implementing practice-based learning. Additionally, the program includes Guest Teacher activities from the industry. Through this initiative, students can learn directly from experienced experts, preparing them to face challenges in the workforce better.

UT hopes to strengthen vocational education through SOBAT, part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in education (UTFUTURE), and positively impact enhancing students’ competencies and skills in facing global competition. This aligns with the Company’s commitment to contributing to the welfare and sustainability of communities across all its operational areas.
