United Tractors Held The 2024 Amazing Race Fire & Rescue Challenge to Enhance Internal Emergency Response Preparedness

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) organized the 2024 Amazing Race Fire & Rescue Challenge as part of the AHEMCE 2024 Occupational Safety and Health Month events. This competition aims to foster and enhance participants’ understanding and competencies in handling emergencies in the workplace. The participants of this event are from 21 sectors within PPI Cakung, SKP, and Jababeka, with each industry represented by 6 participants. The event occurred on March 7, 2024, at the UT Head Office.

The competition consists of two stages: a theory test and a practical test. In the theory test stage, ten sectors proceed to the practical test. The practical test series includes extinguishing fires using sacks, fire extinguishers, and hydrants and aiding victims with techniques such as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), bandaging, and evacuation. Through this activity, it is hoped that the participants, representing each sector’s Emergency Response Team (ERT), can always be alert, swift, and effective. The 2024 Amazing Race Fire & Rescue Challenge is one of UT’s tangible commitments to creating a superior occupational safety and health culture within the company, ensuring a safe and comfortable working environment.
