Due to its innovative efforts in improving company quality and productivity, PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP Mining), PT Tuah Turangga Resources (Turangga Resources), PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE), PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), and PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) — subsidiaries of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) — successfully win multiple awards at the 28th National Quality and Productivity Meeting (TKMPN) 2024. This year’s theme, “Creating a Golden Generation through Green Innovation and Productivity,” aims to encourage industry players to collaborate in creating sustainable innovations that positively impact the nation’s future. The event, organized by PT Wahana Kendali Mutu (WKM) in collaboration with the Indonesian Quality and Productivity Management Association (AMMPI), was held at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center from December 2-6, 2024.

At this event, KPP Mining secures eight awards, including one Quality Strategic Innovation (QSI) award won by Business Performance Improvement (BPI) Raih Energi with a 3-Star Excellence predicate (excellence in human development, productivity, and financial performance). KPP Mining also receives one Best Team Presentation award in the Quality Control Concept (QCC) category, one Diamond award in the Suggestion System (SS) category, one Gold in the SS category, and four Platinum awards in one QCC category and three SS categories. Meanwhile, Turangga Resources earned seven awards: four Gold awards in two Quality Control Project (QCP) categories, one QCC, and one SS, along with three Platinum awards in Quality Innovation Concept (QIC), QCC, and SS categories.

PAMA also receives seven awards, including one Diamond award in the QCC category, one Gold award in the QCC category, and five Platinum awards in two QCP categories, two QCC categories, and one SS category. Additionally, UTPE receives four awards: one Gold award in the SS category, two Platinum awards in the QCC category, and one in the QCP category. Furthermore, EPN received a Platinum award in the SS category, and PTAR won a Platinum award in the QCP category.

The award-winning team BPI Raih Energi presents the topic “Integrating Green & Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Principles into Business: A Pathway for Future Mining Sustainable Success,” reflecting ESG principles’ implementation in mining companies. This program focuses on Greenhouse Gas Reduction, Green & Renewable Energy Management, Water and Waste Management, Health and Safety Management, Community Development, Employee Diversity and Inclusivity, Business Model Resilience, and Good Corporate Governance. At this event, the 3-Star Excellence recognition is the highest and most awarded predicate in the QSI category.

The assessment criteria for these awards include the problem, theme, and goals; problem-solving and improvement processes; solutions covering category and quantity; level of difficulty; implementation process quality; accuracy and completeness of evaluations; results impact; standardization; paper quality; and presentation quality.
