Jakarta, May 29, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta’s Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) organizes the Disaster Preparedness Education Festival (FESDIKGANA) DKI Jakarta 2024 from May 16 to August 15, 2024. This year’s theme is “Hydrometeorological Disaster Preparedness Education Governance: Building Student Sustainability and Resilience in an Era of High Risk.”
A kick-off ceremony for FESDIKGANA DKI Jakarta 2024 was held on May 16, 2024, and was attended by students from elementary, junior high, senior high, and universities in DKI Jakarta. The series of events consisted of remarks from the Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD, Isnawa Adji, and a webinar on hydrometeorological disasters and their prevention. Speakers at the event included UTACTION Team Leader, Rika Nurhayati; Head of the Data and Information Processing Executive Unit (Kasatpel) of the DKI Jakarta BPBD, Michael Sitanggang; and Predikt Project Leader, Titi Haryani.
On May 28, 2024, UT and the DKI Jakarta BPBD once again organized a FESDIKGANA webinar on Design Thinking, which featured a Disaster Literacy Practitioner from the Pelangi Eka Nusa Foundation, Nandha Julistya. This material was related to effective methods for realizing disaster preparedness innovation, presented by the Department Head of Corporate Strategic and Technology, Budi Mulyanto, and Innovation Management Associate and Leader of Assets Management, Syafrudin Prawira Negara. The webinar was attended by 122 participants via Zoom Meetings and Go Live YouTube BPBD DKI Jakarta. It is hoped that this activity will encourage critical thinking among participants regarding disaster preparedness innovation.
