Jakarta, February 22nd,2023 – Astra International Tbk completed its 66th year of work on (22/02). As a subsidiary of Astra, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) also celebrates its 66th birthday with the Executive Board and employees in a hybrid manner located in the UT Head Office Ballroom and via Zoom meeting.
The Board of Directors of Astra and employees from various regions in Indonesia attended Astra’s 66th-anniversary celebration. On its 66th Anniversary, Astra carries the theme “Astra for Today and the Future of Indonesia”.
President Director of Astra, Djony Bunarto Tjondro, in his speech, explained that Astra is always preparing to encounter current and future challenges to be able to participate in real terms in overcoming the impacts of climate change and meet increasingly high customer expectations.
“Entering its 66th year, Astra has realized investments in new business portfolios that are expected to be able to make a good contribution, as well as maintain Astra’s relevance and growth so that it can be beneficial for Indonesia today and in the future,” said President Director of Astra, Djony Bunarto Tjondro.
The series of celebrations for the 66th Anniversary of Astra continued with the presentation of the Astra Awards, the highest awards for the entire Astra group of companies. This award is a form of encouragement to continue improving performance in 2023 and the future.
At this event, UT won an award at the Astra Awards, which proves UT’s success in implementing the 3W concept, namely the Winning Concept, Winning System, and Winning Team throughout 2022. Astra’s contribution in providing benefits to the surrounding environment for today and the future of Indonesia is in line with Astra’s aspirations to prosper with the nation and support Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
