United Tractors Celebrated 50th Golden Anniversary by Consistently Striving to Build the Nation Through Sustainability

Jakarta, October 13th, 2022 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) carries the theme “Berkarya Membangun Keberlanjutan” in commemoration of its 50th anniversary. At its golden age, UT is determined to build the nation through sustainable business practices to deliver positive impact to all stakeholders. Taken place the Head Office, the Company invited the founding fathers of UT and all UT Group personnel. The UT Anniversary celebration can also be witnessed by all employees at UT branches and sites online through live streaming.

Fifty years is a long journey and certainly full of challenges. This has made UT to be increasingly agile in character and maximize every opportunity that exists. UT’s success in maintaining sustainable business is the result of the collaboration of all stakeholders and the hard work of all UT Group personnel.

As UT’s contribution to the achievement of Sustainable Development Targets (SDGs) and commemorating its 50th golden age, UT carries out several social responsibility programs, consist of environmental initiatives (UTREES) by planting 50,000 trees in various regions in Indonesia, in the health sector (UTCARE) conducted blood donation activities of 5,000 blood bags. The field of education (UTFUTURE) there is SOBAT program which has a series of activities such as providing scholarships, launching SOBAT digital platform with a target of 500 teachers and 5,000 students, improving the skills of 500 teachers and lecturers, heavy equipment competency competitions and curriculum synchronization programs called “Merdeka Belajar”.

The UT Anniversary celebration was also filled with various activities involving all UT Group employees, such as the Sports and Arts Week (PORSENI), cultural parades, best employee awards, employee innovation awards, the launch of the UT Virtual Museum, as well as exhibitions, music concerts, and various door prizes.

During its 50 years of existence in Indonesia, UT is here to continue striving to build the nation through 2030 Sustainability Aspirations, which is the UT Group’s commitment for sustainable and resilient business transition, to deliver positive impact for the earth, climate, business, and society.
