PT United Tractors Tbk and PT Astra Honda Motor conducted Kartini Safety Riding Training.
Bekasi, April 29, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) and PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) organize a Kartini Safety Riding Training at AHM Safety & Riding Center, Bekasi, as part of the Movement Towards Inclusive Emancipation and Equality initiative. The goal was to raise awareness about road safety, especially for women. Participants included 94 offline participants, including UT head office female cadres and community members, 40 students from SMK Bina Bangsa, and 37 online participants via Zoom Meetings.
Dimas Aryo Wicaksono of UT and Satrio Nugroho of AHM delivered the opening remarks. “The collaboration between UT and AHM aims to provide more detailed education to women about road safety and empower UT’s female cadres to enhance their capabilities,” said Dimas Aryo Wicaksono in his speech.
The Kartini Safety Riding Training was implemented as a calculated move to highlight the value of road safety, especially for UT’s female cadres. The training included an interactive session on road safety with experienced speakers, Briptu Rizal Budi Ramdani from the Karawang Police Traffic Unit and Laras Dwi Yulia, an AHM Safety Riding Instructor. The training provided theoretical knowledge and allowed participants to practice applying road safety principles directly. In addition, participants also received makeup tutorial training from two leading Makeup Artists (MUAs), Tavera and Annisa.
Through this collaboration, UT and AHM have successfully organized a training session that balances knowledge and hands-on practice on the importance of road safety for women. This event is intended to be an initial step towards a positive change in the driving culture among women, especially UT’s female cadres, towards better safety habits on the road.
