United Tractors Achieves Outstanding Climate Adaptation Program for Community Award from Astra

UT earns this accolade for successfully implementing programs that support climate adaptation.

One of the standout programs contributing to this award is the Independent Waste Management Program. This initiative includes various efforts, such as operating waste banks, utilizing composters, developing waste management systems, and cultivating maggot farming. The significant impact of this program is evident in Sumbergondo Village, which successfully stopped contributing waste to the Batu City Final Waste Disposal Site (TPA) since 2019. Through innovative approaches and close collaboration with the community, UT creates long-term solutions that support environmental sustainability and empower local communities.
