Jakarta, February 22nd,2023 – To build good relations with the mass media, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) visited Tribunnews.com, which took place at Tribun Network, Central Jakarta, last Wednesday (22/02). This visit aims to provide public needs for UT’s sustainability and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives through Tribunnews.com. In addition, this visit was carried out to increase the potential of collaboration which in the future can deliver a positive and sustainable contribution to the nation.
UT is a company with operations in 45 locations in Indonesia. This Company’s breadth of business coverage and representative branches influence the amount of information. Hence, it’s necessary to be close to the mass media with a broad network, such as Tribunnews.com, which has a massive network and audience spread across 34 provinces in Indonesia.
During the visit, the conversation started with a presentation about the Company’s overview, knowledge sharing between UT and Tribunnews.com, as well as a question-and-answer session regarding UT together with Sara K. Loebis (Corporate Governance & Sustainability Division Head) and Himawan Sutanto (CSR Manager UT). Then, the discussion was deepened by discussing business lines, CSR programs, and the sustainability aspirations that UT is carrying out.
“The media visit that UT conducted to Tribunnews.com provided many new perspectives regarding the information dissemination, just as strong narratives are important in publishing information to the public. It is hoped that this activity will be the first step for UT to build stronger communication around sustainability aspirations with Tribunnews.com,” said Sara K. Loebis.
The media visit was attended by UT Corporate Communication (Corcom) team to the Tribunnews.com media was warmly welcomed by Yulis Sulistyawan (General Manager Digital Content), Sanusi (Assistant Manager Editor), Willy Widianto (Assistant Manager Editor), Lita Febriani (Journalist Oto), Yulis Sulistyawan ( General Manager Advertising), Krisnu Della Sarita (Digital Sales Manager), and Brian Wibisono (General Manager Digital Content). This meeting is expected to strengthen the relationship between UT and Tribunnews.com.
