Awarding for the 2022 UT Healthy School Innovation Competition
Jakarta, September 9th, 2022 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) gave award in the “Inovasi Sekolah Sehat“ (School Inovation) Competition as a form of appreciation to all UT fostered schools (SOBAT) who have provided the best innovations through the implementation of healthy school criterias. This competition is a form of UT’s contribution in the fields of education and health in supporting sustainability for healthy generations for the future.
“Currently we are approaching the demographic bonus and a healthy generation is an important source to greet this opportunity. In line with the Company’s ESG implementation, UT commits to always supporting and creating healthy and superior young generations“, said Himawan Sutanto, the head of the Department of Social, Responsibility, & Communication UT.
Through this activity, UT encourages SOBAT to actively participate in every school development activity and to increase awareness of health in the school. Through SOBAT, UT is committed to contribute to the welfare and sustainability of Indonesians in all of its operational areas.
The School Innovation Competition has been taking place since June 6th, 2022. The final selection process and judging interview took place on August 18th, 2022. During the selection process, three schools with the best innovations have been selected.
SMKIT Fitrah Hannaih – Cibitung won first place with SELINGKAR (Education for the Environment) as its program, SMK Muhamadiyah 7 Gondanglegi – Malang won second place with S’CORN (Sharing Corner) as their program, and SMK Muhammadiyah Kedungwuni – Pekalongan won third place with Youth Posyandu as their innovation program.
Also attended the awarding event Himawan Sutanto as the Head of Social Responsibility and Corporate Communications Department of UT; CSR Team Leader in the Health Sector, Meyta Hutapea; and Director of Nutrition, Maternal and Child Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, Inti Mujiati.
