Supporting the Economic Independence of Fostered Posyandu Cadres, United Tractors Conducted Social Entrepreneurship Training and Field Assistance

Jakarta, November 1st, 2022 – Jakarta, November 1st, 2022 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) held training and field assistance sessions for Social Entrepreneurship as part of the ongoing series program of the 2022 Berdaya Bersama through hybrid using Zoom and located at UT Head Office. This event aimed to increase fostered Integrated Healthcare Center (Posyandu) cadres’ knowledge and skill of social entrepreneurship, thus can escalate the economic independence of respective cadres.

This activity was divided into two educative sessions. The first session was Social Business Model Canvas, and the second was Financial Business Plan. Tria Rahmawati, the CEO of happynessfamilys, and a social entrepreneur activist was the session’s speaker.

“An entrepreneur would find it hard to improve their business without proper budgeting skills. The wrongly calculated cost will result in the incorrect product price. The cost will determine revenue.” said Tria Rahmawati.  A total of thirteen participants attended this program. Nine participants in the program on-site, while the other four followed the event online.

Berdaya Bersama 2022 program situation and field assistance sessions

Berdaya Bersama Program is a part of UT’s responsibility to implement the principles of environment, social, and governance (ESG). United Tractors understands the importance of economic independence for posyandu cadres. It is expected that this program can give a domino effect, from increasing the economic level of posyandu cadres, which will improve the quality of health service provided by the cadres that ultimately can reduce the stunting prevalence in Indonesia.
