Jakarta, May 5th,2023 – In order to increase knowledge in the field of health for students in Indonesia, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) initiated the Little Doctor program. This program is a UT initiative that is consistently carried out to support student participation in the health sector from an early age. The schools participating in this program are SDN 03 Cakung Barat and SDN 03 Penggilingan.

The Little Doctor Program aims to provide knowledge and awareness about the importance of health for students, as well as encourage their interest in maintaining the health of themselves and others. In this activity, the material was delivered by Tisa Layalia as one of the youth cadres fostered by UT in the UT Youth Movement (UTYM) program to students regarding Healthy and Clean Lifestyles (PHBS), how to deal with Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), and how to wash right hand.

UT through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the health sector United Tractors for Community Health Responsibility (UTCARE) not only delivered material on the Little Doctor program, but also participated in providing support for cleaning facilities as a means to improve cleanliness in the school environment.

“UT is committed to increasing knowledge in the health sector for the Indonesian people with various efforts, one of which is to support student participation in the health sector through the Little Doctor program. We believe that educating children from an early age about the importance of maintaining health will help them become generations who care about and are responsible for their own health and those of the surrounding community,” said UT’s CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto.

After delivering material on health, a series of activities continued with the implementation of community service in the school environment such as cleaning toilets and the School Health Unit (UKS) to prevent the breeding of DHF mosquitoes. With the holding of the Little Doctor program, it is hoped that all participants will be able to understand and implement Clean and Healthy Behavior.

The Little Doctor Program is UT’s effort to implement Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) in its operational areas. Through this initiative, UT hopes to support education and community welfare, and to have a positive impact on children in Indonesia, especially in maintaining their health.
