Supporting Early Childhood Education, United Tractors Fosters PAUD HI Fitriyyah in East Kutai, East Kalimantan

Kalimantan, November 22th, 2022 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) on 22 October inaugurated the Fitriyyah Holistrik-Integrative Early Childhood Education (PAUD) facility located at Rejeki Street 3 No. 63, Teluk Lingga Village, North Sangatta, East Kutai Regency sub-districts, East Kalimantan. In addition to building educational facilities, United Tractors also developed human resources at PAUD-HI Fitriyyah.

This inauguration was carried out directly by the Chairperson of the East Kutai PAUD, Siti Robiah Ardiansyah together with UT representatives: by Muhammad Arsyad and Ahmad Taufiq. Development of educational facilities and conducting training of teaching staff are of United Tractors’ goals to improve the quality of education and public health in the areas where the Company operates, which are part of ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) implementation.

As a company that has a responsibility to contribute to the society, UT successfully made PAUD Fitriyyah the 3rd Holistic-Integrative PAUD in East Kutai Regency. Through Holistic-Integrative PAUD, UT integrates Kindergartens, Playgroups, Child Care Centers, Similar PAUD Units, and Service Posts (POSYANDU).

“We understand the importance of PAUD-HI education in preparing children’s basic abilities, which will affect educational abilities in the next stages of life. Therefore, UT provides PAUD and Posyandu to ensure that early childhood education and health needs are maintained. UT’s contribution is a form of our efforts to realize the welfare and sustainability of the people in Indonesia.” said UT’s Corporate Secretary, Sara K. Loebis.

UT’s fostered PAUD and Posyandu are part of realizing shared values in advancing social conditions and ensuring an increase in quality of life. This aligns with UT’s spirit of social responsibility through the United Tractors for Community Health Responsibility (UTCARE) and United Tractors for Education and Bright Future (UTFUTURE) programs.

UT hopes that the inauguration of PAUD-HI Fitriyyah can deliver the next generation who are intelligent, active and able to recognize their talents, as well as able to contribute to Indonesia in the future.

In addition to the Chairperson of the East Kutai PAUD, this activity was also attended by North Sangatta Sub-District Head, Hasdiah Dohi; Head of the Technical Implementation Unit of East Kalimantan Education Office, Hery; people from the Neighborhood Associations around the location and the local community.
