This award, presented by HerStory Indonesia, recognizes PAMA’s commitment to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. The award was handed over by HerStory’s CEO, Muhamad Ihsan, and Deputy for Women’s Rights Protection at the Ministry of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA), Ratna Susianawati, to PAMA’s Director, Chinthya Theresa, at The Sultan Hotel, Jakarta.
PAMA’s Director, Chinthya Theresa, expressed gratitude for the award and emphasized PAMA’s ongoing efforts to increase women’s involvement in the mining sector, which has traditionally been male-dominated.
“On behalf of Indonesian women, I would like to thank you for this recognition. We are committed to increasing the representation of women at all levels, including senior management. Last year, we recruited ten women at the mechanic level, and we will continue to expand these opportunities across all levels, from operators to mechanics and into management,” said Chinthya Theresa.
