Jakarta, October 25th, 2022 – To strengthen the synergy with mass media, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) paid visit to Harian Kompas, located at Menara Kompas, Central Jakarta. UT conducted this visit to accelerate potential for collaboration through positive and sustainable contributions to the nation.
The discussion started with UT’s presentation of its company overview, Sustainability Aspirations, business lines, company performance, and sustainability roadmap in the short, medium, and long term. UT and Kompas deepened the conversation by discussing the latest economic issues, ESG, and sustainability.
Harian Kompas Media is concerned with economic, ESG, and sustainability issues. This are proven by its features of many sustainability issues and ESG such as industry, investors, and banking sector. In addition, the Economics and Opinion Rubric is the most discussed features by the Harian Kompas media. Both Kompas and UT share common concern related to current issues.
Another discussed topic was the current development of the media, where the press must maintain its integrity to become a reliable, accurate, and in-depth source of information. This discussion adds a new perspective regarding the importance of a strong narrative in disseminating company information to the public.
The media visit was attended by UT’s Director of Human Capital, Corporate Governance & Sustainability, Edhie Sarwono; UT Corporate Secretary, Sara K. Loebis; UT’s CSR & Communication Manager, Himawan Sutanto, along with Social Responsibility and Corporate Communication (SRCOM) staffs. UT’s arrival at Harian Kompas was welcomed by the Deputy Chief Editor P Tri Agung Kristanto, General Manager of Advertising Dorothea Devita, along with their team. This meeting is expected to be the first step for UT to engage better communication about its 2030 Sustainability Aspiration.
