Jakarta, January 18th,2023 – Welcoming and to start performance target in the new year, AHEMCE held a 2023 kickoff with the theme “Agility to Cope with Business Volatility”. This activity is a routine program at the beginning of the year which is always carried out by AHEMCE to evaluate the 2022 performance and communicate 2023 work plan. The event was carried out in a hybrid manner at UT Head Office Ballroom and online via the UT youtube channel.
President Director of United Tractors, Frans Kesuma said in his remarks that 2022 performance is the best since UT was founded, but we must remain agile in facing 2023 challenges because of tough competition and uncertain global turmoil. Therefore, AHEMCE should perform better with higher achievements.
“Technology is rapidly evolving, causing the energy transition to accelerate, resulting in the disappearance of cutting-edge technologies in the future. For this reason, a change in the business portfolio mindset is needed which is oriented no longer to the short-term, namely the existing business, but to a long-term one, such as renewable energy business and greenfield mineral business,” said Frans Kesuma.
All AHEMCE must focus on operational excellence in all business lines, improve compliance with the sustainability strategy, strengthen collaboration to face challenges together, and deliver the best performance to contribute significantly the Astra Goal 2030 and Astra Vision 2040.
