Providing Best Innovation in Education, Agincourt Resources Wins Subroto Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources

PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), won the 2024 Subroto Award from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). In this event, PTAR received an Education Category for Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) award for the Most Innovative Minerals. This award was presented directly by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, and accompanied by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, to the Deputy President Director of PTAR, Ruli Tanio at the commemoration of the 79th Mining and Energy Day at Kempinski Hotel, Jakarta, on (10/10/2024).

The program implemented in this award is a Non-Formal Education Program in the Field of Arts and Culture for Children and Youth through the Sopo Daganak Art Studio. This program started in 2009 when PTAR built a Children’s Reading Park (TBA) in Napa Village, Batang Toru, South Tapanuli. With the increasing benefits felt, PTAR gradually built 13 other TBAs, which were handed over to the village government. In 2018, PTAR constructed Sopo Daganak, a kid-friendly amphitheater-style extracurricular center in Napa Village that can accommodate 500 people.

This award is concrete evidence of the Company’s commitment to advancing non-formal education in the arts and culture sector for Indonesia’s young generation.
