Jakarta, September 18th,2023 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through the UT Youth Movement (UTYM) program, organized a program called Aksi Sekolah Sehat or Healthy School Action in Central Java and East Java to create a healthy and excellent generation in Indonesia. This program is UT’s concrete step in establishing a healthy student lifestyle and improving health status in the school environment.

The Healthy School Action program was implemented in Central Java, where it was attended by SMKN 1 Adiwerna, SMKN Muhaammadiyah Kedungwungi, and SMKN 1 Gondang, with a total of 272 students participating on 7-8 August 2023. Additionally, the program was also joined by SMK PGRI 2 Ponorogo and Bina Bangsa Dampit Vocational School, located in East Java, with a total of 197 students participating. Ten students were selected to act as health cadres, whose role was to educate, encourage, and assist other students in maintaining good health.

“UT is committed to increasing knowledge in the health sector for the Indonesian people through various efforts, one of which is supporting student participation in the health sector through the Healthy School Action program. We believe that educating children from an early age about the importance of maintaining health will help them become a generation that cares about and is responsible for the health of themselves and the surrounding community,” said UT’s CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto.

The Healthy School Action activity began with a group exercise session to promote physical activity, which must be carried out daily. Then, the Health Cadres provided nutritional and physical health education, including exams for students.

The Healthy School Action Program is UT’s effort in its operational areas through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation. Through this initiative, UT hopes to support education and community welfare and positively impact children in Indonesia, especially in maintaining their health.
