Prioritizing Workplace Safety, United Tractors Achieves the Indonesia Best Companies in HSE Implementation Award 2024 from SWA Media

Jakarta, March 4, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) continues its efforts to prioritize Occupational Health and Safety (HSE) within the Company. Thanks to its commitment, UT has been awarded the Indonesia Best Companies in HSE Implementation 2024 with the predicate “Very Good” from SWA Media. The award was received in person by the Environment, Health, and Safety Department Head, Erika Pratiwi, located at the Shangri-La Hotel in Jakarta.

Erika Pratiwi emphasized that the achievement of this award is tangible evidence of UT’s seriousness in implementing HSE regulations in the workplace. By consistently implementing the HSE management system, UT can face existing challenges and ensure the Company’s sustainable operation.

In the future, we will continue to consistently prioritize the safety and health of employees by implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), compliance aspects in conducting business, sustainability principles, and the implementation of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG),” said Erika Pratiwi.

UT’s success in achieving this award is attributed to its ability to enhance workplace safety and labor productivity, and reduce accident rates, loss of working hours, product damage, and cost savings. Additionally, the evaluation indicators in this award focus on leadership (10%), strategy (10%), stakeholders (10%), workforce (10%), operations (20%), Results (30%), measurement, analysis, and knowledge management (10%).

Through this award, UT will continue striving to instill a safety culture by considering HSE values in every business process to maintain business continuity and achieve corporate productivity. Furthermore, UT will remain committed to realizing corporate sustainability by embedding the HSE culture as the foundation for reaching the set ESG targets.
