Jakarta, June 22th,2023 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) Group continues to prioritize Occupational Health and Safety (K3) within the Company’s environment. In reference to its commitment, the UT Group has successfully received the 2023 K3 award from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker) as a company that emphasizes the safety and health of its workers. The award was received in person by representatives of the UT Group at The Tribrata – Opus Grand Ballroom, Jakarta.
Among the companies that received the 2023 K3 award are PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA), PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP), PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE), PT Bina Pertiwi (BP), and PT Komatsu Remanufacturing Asia (KRA).
In addition, a total of 25 sites and 11 branches of the UT Group received the Zero Accident Award in 2023. Furthermore, 11 sites and 4 branches received the HIV-AIDS Prevention and Control Program Award in the Workplace for the year 2023. Additionally, 17 sites and 5 branches of the UT Group received the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Program Award in the Workplace for the year 2023.
These awards are given to companies and government institutions that meet the criteria set by Kemnaker. The criteria are based on centralized evaluation, taking into account offline sampling in several regions and reports from the Occupational Health and Safety Audit Institution.
Sara K. Loebis, Head of Corporate Governance and Sustainability Division, emphasized that the UT Group’s success in receiving these awards is tangible proof of the Company’s commitment to implementing occupational health and safety regulations in the workplace.
