PT Kalimantan Prima Persada (KPP Mining), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), won two awards from the Central Kalimantan Manpower and Transmigration Department (Disnakertrans) for its dedication and consistency in implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) aspects. KPP Mining Job Site ASTO received two awards in the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) or Zero Accident category and Prevention and Control of HIV-AIDS (P2HIV-AIDS).

The award was presented directly by the Head of Supervision of the Central Kalimantan Manpower and Transmigration Office, Andi Jairin and the Coordinator of the Functional Position Group (KJF) of the Central Kalimantan Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office, Henry Lubis to the Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) Department Head of KPP Mining Job Site ASTO Akbar Kurniawan, located at the Central Kalimantan Provincial Manpower and Transmigration Office, on (04/10/2024).

This award is evidence of the Company’s efforts in implementing K3 in all operational areas to prevent work accidents. This commitment is realized through various programs carried out by KPP Mining Job Site ASTO, namely Speed Management, Traffic Management, and Fatigue Management, to implement the K3 Management System. In addition, KPP Mining Job Site ASTO also validates P2HIV AIDS policies, including socialization and counseling for employees and the surrounding community.

This award will likely motivate the Company to implement K3 aspects consistently. KPP Mining Job Site ASTO continues to improve innovation in the field of K3 under environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects through the implementation of safety values. Therefore, it is hoped that employees’ welfare, health, and safety can be achieved.
