Jakarta, April 30, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) has consistently enhanced company security by organizing the 2024 security readiness inspection. In its execution, UT collaborated with the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (POLRI), and the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) to ensure readiness in facing various potential threats.
This collaboration is essential in maintaining the Company’s security and order because TNI, POLRI, and BNPB possess the expertise and resources to assist companies in handling various complex situations. The activity took place at the UT Head Office in Jakarta. All UT Group representatives attended it to enhance security at the 109 operational points across Indonesia.
“UT understands the importance of cross-sector cooperation in ensuring company security. Through this collaboration, it is hoped that good communication and cooperation can be built, thus achieving a safe and comfortable working environment,” said UT’s Director, Edhie Sarwono.
The theme of this event is “Quick Action, Weaving One Soul, One Feeling”. This activity serves as a means to increase the alertness of the duty teams, strengthen physical security systems, adapt to digital capabilities, and enhance knowledge and training in security. Additionally, the security team can continue implementing effective UT Group security collaboration measures to protect employees, assets, and the Company’s reputation through this collaboration.
The activity consists of several stages, including the ceremony, followed by the inauguration of the Emergency Response Team (ERT), symbolized by the pinning ceremony by UT’s Director, Edhie Sarwono, to two representatives of the ERT team. Subsequently, the event continued with a hostage simulation to depict the scenario when there was a threat and the appropriate steps to take. This simulation aims to ensure that the UT Group maintains a high readiness level in various emergency situations, including security threats.
The hope is that this activity can increase vigilance, strengthen preparedness, and build collaborations to create a safe and conducive environment for the Company, employees, and the surrounding community.
