Improving Communication Competence, United Tractors Held the 2023 AHEMCE Corporate Communications Forum

Jakarta, June 2nd,2023 – To continuously improve communication competence, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) held The 2023 AHEMCE Corporate Communications Forum (Forkom) with theme “Public Relations as The Heart of The Company: Building Corcomm Strategies for Sustainable Company Reputation”. This forum was held hybrid at the UT Corpu Discovery Room and online via Zoom Meeting.

This event was held as a means of capacity building and coordination of the Person in Charge (PIC) Corcom AHEMCE in accelerating and uniforming information related to corporate communication strategy in building and maintaining the Company’s reputation. In addition, this forum aims to rebuild awareness of the importance of maintaining a positive corporate image in conveying messages to the public.

Head of Corporate Governance & Sustainability, Sara K. Loebis, emphasized that it is necessary to adjust communication to changes in the current digital era to adapt to public needs.

“Currently, communication practitioners need to have a proper understanding of communication strategies to adapt to the times and prevailing trends, especially to find out more about the importance of the role of Public Relations (PR) as the “heart” of the Company in building a sustainable corporate reputation,” said Sara K. Loebis.

The speaker at this event was Glory Oyong, Corporate Communication Director of Kompas Gramedia (KG). By presenting material related to the role of PR as the heart of the Company, strategies for building a sustainable corporate reputation, and building trust and relationships with the public and other stakeholders.

Through this event, it is hoped that all communication PICs can improve their competence to successfully deliver the AHEMCE Group, a sustainable company in the eyes of the public, by implementing an effective communication strategy.
