Implementing Sustainable Energy, UT Achieves ISO 50001 Certification regarding Energy Management Systems

ISO 50001 Certificate

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) succeeded in obtaining the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 50001 certificate from the LRQA certification institute. ISO 50001 certificate is a standard that focuses on energy management systems. This management system aligns with UT’s sustainability commitment, which impacts environmental sustainability as a form of compliance with regulations PP 33 of 2023 regarding Energy Management Systems.

“With the implementation of ISO 50001 in the company, it will certainly be a valuable investment. UT will continue to be consistently committed to implementing various initiatives that focus on effective energy management to continue to support sustainability,” said the Division Head of Corporate Governance & Sustainability UT, Sara K. Loebis.

Implementing ISO 50001 also brings many other benefits, such as increasing energy efficiency, reducing operational costs related to energy, complying with regulations and standards related to energy management, and increasing reputation and trust in terms of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Apart from ISO 50001, UT has also obtained several ISO certificates, such as ISO 9001 concerning Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 concerning Environmental Management Systems, ISO 45001 concerning Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (K3), and Occupational Safety and Health Management Systems (SMK3) regarding Risk Control related to Work Activities.

UT will continue implementing sustainable business practices through a sound management system to increase efficiency, quality, and compliance, reduce risk, and positively impact the environment to support sustainability goals.
