Implementing Sustainability Principles, Yayasan Karya Bakti United Tractors (YKBUT) Wons Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Award (ICSA) 2024

The award’s receivement of Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Award 2024 to YKBUT represented by the Staff of the UT School Service Development Institution Cooperation (KIPL), Edi S. Pramono, and Deputy Head of Human Capital, Safety, Environment Social and Governance (ESG) & Corporate Communication of Yayasan Karya Bakti UT (YKBUT), Mujoko.

Yayasan Karya Bakti United Tractors (YKBUT) has won an award at the Indonesia Corporate Sustainability Award (ICSA) 2024, organized by PT Olahkarsa Inovasi Indonesia (Olahkarsa) and in collaboration with the Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD). This event is an award for Indonesian companies that implement sustainability principles in all aspects of their operations. YKBUT won two awards at this event, which were the Best Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in the Sustainability category and the Outstanding Senior Leader in Sustainability award, which was received by the Chairperson of the YKBUT Daily Management, Endang Tri Handajani. This award was presented directly to the Staff of the UT School Service Development Institution Cooperation (KIPL), Edi S. Pramono, and Deputy Head of Human Capital, Safety, Environment Social and Governance (ESG) & Corporate Communication of the UT Karya Bakti Foundation (YKBUT), Mujoko, which took place at The Stones Hotel, Bali (11/21/2024).

“We express our gratitude for the award given to YKBUT. This award is concrete evidence that the Foundation has become a strategic partner in supporting sustainability through innovative programs that have a real impact on the social, environmental, and economic levels. Hopefully, this award can motivate us to improve the implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) in the Company,” said Endang Tri Handajani.

The award in the Best NGO in Sustainability category is an appreciation for the Company’s initiative to impact society, social issues, and environmental challenges significantly. The assessment indicators in this category are effective strategies, community involvement, and measurable results from the Company’s programs. Meanwhile, the Outstanding Senior Leader in Sustainability category is an award for senior leaders (Top Management) who have demonstrated extraordinary commitment and effectiveness in driving sustainability initiatives in the Company. This award is assessed based on individual leadership that has significantly supported implementing environmental, social, and economic sustainability goals.

This achievement is hoped to further motivate the Foundation to implement sustainability values ​​in all aspects of its operations. This aligns with PT United Tractors Tbk (UT)’s commitment to contributing to the welfare of employees and communities in its operational areas.
