Jakarta, June 20, 2024 — PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), along with the United Tractors Employees Cooperative (Kopkar Kanitra), launch KanitraPreneur, an initiative within the framework of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program to support the marketing of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) products in the vicinity of the Company’s operational areas. UT CSR Manager Himawan Sutanto and Kanitra Board Member M Jamal Hardiyan symbolically conducted the launch event. The event occurred at Kanitra Mart, UT Head Office, Cakung, East Jakarta.
This program aims to provide comprehensive marketing facilitation for MSMEs operating in the culinary and handicraft sectors under the guidance of UT CSR and Kopkar Kanitra. A total of 11 selected MSMEs that have signed the MoU will receive various facilities, including product display and promotion at Kanitra Mart, sales report recording, and entrepreneurship training designed to ensure the sustainability of the KanitraPreneur program. The next step in the collaboration between UT and Kopkar Kanitra is to develop KanitraPreneur across various UT branches, sites, and other AHEMCE companies.
The established synergy is hoped to provide great opportunities for the culinary MSMEs’ products to be better known and appreciated by employees and the public. With strategic marketing support, this program is also expected to have a broad positive impact on the Company, the MSME business ecosystem, and the surrounding community.
