As part of the company’s commitment to community development in the health sector within its operational areas, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) partnered with PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN) to inaugurate and hand over the Batu Hijau X Integrated Health Post (Posyandu) in Pasir Putih Village, Maluk, West Sumbawa Regency, to local health cadres. This initiative is part of UT’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) health program (UT CARE), focusing on improving health services, especially for mothers, children, and community members with limited access to basic healthcare. The event occurred at Batu Hijau X Health Post on December 11, 2024.
“We believe that achieving equality in healthcare access requires strong collaboration among various stakeholders. Therefore, the synergy between UT, AMMAN, and the government is a strategic step to support the success of public health improvement programs, especially for mothers and children. We hope this program will provide sustainable positive impacts and be optimally utilized by the community,” said UT CSR Manager Himawan Sutanto.
During the inauguration, Pasir Putih Village Head Ahmadi officially designated the Batu Hijau X Health Post, a village-supported health post. Previously, this health post had partnered with AMMAN in programs to reduce stunting and strengthen health cadres’ capacities. Through this collaboration, UT, together with its subsidiaries PT Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACSET) and PT Triatra Sinergi Pratama (Triatra), contributed to the initiative by providing healthcare support, renovating health post facilities, and donating clean water facilities equipped with drinkable water filtration technology.
This initiative is expected to enhance maternal and child health, promote healthy living habits, and reduce plastic waste in the community. Furthermore, this partnership aims to inspire other companies to contribute positively and sustainably to Indonesian society.
