Jakarta, August 20th, 2022 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through the Health CSR program (UTCARE) launched an innovative Posyandu development program, namely Program Berdaya Bersama in order to increase the independence and welfare of Posyandu and Posbindu cadres assisted by UT.
Berdaya Bersama Program is a mentoring and training program that focuses on social entrepreneurship and public health. This activity is aimed at fostering Posyandu/Posbindu cadres who already have small enterprise businesses, either just starting or already operating.
Through this program, UT provides intensive assistance to participants through hybrid training class.
To all participants, UT facilitated the strengthening of understanding related to business fundamentals ranging from business basics, market and finance, branding and its applications, digital marketing, branding and promotion to understand the target market, determine product selling prices, create marketing strategies and financial reports, business scale up, as well as business evaluation and appreciation.
“This program is our corporate social responsibility to improve the quality of Posyandu and Posbindu around UT’s operational areas, both in terms of human resources and business. We understand the importance of UT’s role in improving the quality of health facilities so that they have a good impact on the surrounding community,” said UT’s Corporate Social Responsibility & Communication Department Head, Himawan Sutanto.
Through this activity, UT will always commit to increasing the independence of UT’s assisted health cadres, so that they can contribute to the welfare and sustainability of the Indonesian citizen in all operational areas.
The inaugural class of the Berdaya Bersama training will begin on Saturday, August 27th, 2022. The founder of Happiness Family as well as a social activist engaged in social entrepreneurship, Triana Rahmawati presented the material with theme “Introduction to Business or Introduction to Social Entrepreneurs”.
The online program was attended by 25 participants of posyandu/posbindu cadres who have been selected from a total of 113 applicants. UT’s Corporate Social Responsibility & Communication Department Head Himawan Sutanto and UTCARE’s Team Leader, Meyta Hutapea were also attending the event.
