PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) by organizing the “Festival Kebun: Employee Voluntary Gardening Week” program in collaboration with Sinergy and the Bumi Disabilitas Foundation. This event aims to strengthen bonds between UT Group employees and people with disabilities through outdoor activities and instill inclusion and tolerance values within the company culture. The event was held in person at Villa PSJ, Cimaung, Bandung on (24/08/2024).

“This event is not merely a voluntary activity for employees but a concrete step by UT in realizing its commitment to DEI by providing a space for children with disabilities to express themselves. Additionally, it is hoped that this activity will foster empathy and care among employees for one another. Hopefully, this event can continue to be developed to have a broader positive impact in creating inclusivity,” said UT’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager, Himawan Sutanto.

The series of events in this activity included talent shows from the Bumi Disabilitas Foundation, which included pantomime and angklung performances. Furthermore, there was also physical activity in the form of a gardening session to stimulate the children’s creativity and motor skills. In addition, UT also facilitated health services such as health checks for children with disabilities and their parents. As a form of further care, UT provided protein supplements to meet the children’s nutritional needs and blood tablets for girls with disabilities.

UT will consistently create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. The hope is that this event will inspire many to continue fighting for the rights of the disabled community in Indonesia through the implementation of DEI. This aligns with UT’s commitment to contributing to the welfare and sustainability of Indonesian society in all of its operating areas.
