Driving Sustainable Innovation, United Tractors Pandu Engineering Wins the Indonesia Sustainability Award (ISA) 2025

PT United Tractors Pandu Engineering (UTPE), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), successfully wins the Indonesia Sustainability Award (ISA) 2025, organized by First Indonesia Magazine. This event aims to promote sustainable innovation across various sectors, strengthen industry resilience, and recognize companies that effectively implement sustainability strategies. At this prestigious event, UTPE secures two awards in the categories of The Best Company for Environmental Innovation in Air Pollution Control Technologies and The Best Company for Climate Change Initiatives Focused on Carbon Emission Reduction. Corporate Human Capital and Sustainability Head of UTPE, Yanuar Adhi Pawoko, also receives the Best Leadership Committed to ESG Implementation Program award. The awards are presented at éL Hotel Royale Bandung on February 26, 2025.

Under the theme “Accelerating Sustainable Innovation: Empowering a Resilient Future,” the assessment for this award is based on the company’s commitment and performance in sustainability aspects, including Environment (E), Social (S), Governance (G), Reporting and Transparency, as well as the CEO’s role in implementing CSR initiatives. UTPE receives this recognition for its integrated energy and carbon management system, which leads to a 23.6% reduction in energy consumption, an increase in machine utilization from 7.26 hours/day to 8.27 hours/day, and a 35.68% reduction in carbon emissions, significantly exceeding the initial target of 10.75%. Furthermore, energy and productivity optimization provides a financial impact, with total cost savings reaching IDR 1.25 billion.

This achievement proves UTPE’s commitment to sustainability in its operations and business innovation. This recognition motivates UTPE further to develop solutions that support environmental conservation and social empowerment.
