Creating a Sustainable Environment, United Tractors Group Wins Green and Blue PROPER Awards in 2024

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), along with its subsidiaries PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR) and PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), successfully achieved a Green ranking in the 2024 Corporate Performance Rating Program (PROPER) from the Ministry of Environment (KLH). In addition, PT United Tractors Semen Gresik (UTSG), PT Komatsu Remanufacturing (KRA), PT Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap (SERD), PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM), and PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP) also secured a Blue PROPER ranking.

This award was granted to the UT Group for consistently managing the environment and fostering community development sustainably while applying eco-efficiency principles in the mining services sector. The award was personally presented by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia (RI), Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, at the 2023-2024 PROPER Awarding Night, held at Sasono Langen Budoyo, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta, on February 24, 2025.

“The PROPER award is proof of the UT Group’s commitment to implementing sustainable business practices that positively impact society and the environment. This achievement also aligns with the company’s implementation of the 3P Roadmap principles: Portfolio, People, and Public Contribution,” said Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager UT, Himawan Sutanto.

The PROPER assessment consists of a compliance evaluation and an assessment beyond regulatory requirements. These criteria include the company’s adherence to good environmental management practices, as documented through reports on water pollution control, air pollution control, and the management of hazardous and toxic waste (B3).

Furthermore, PROPER embodies corporate transparency and democratization in environmental management. The Green PROPER ranking is awarded to companies that exceed compliance by implementing environmental management systems, energy efficiency, emission reduction, and innovative, sustainable community empowerment programs. Meanwhile, the Blue PROPER ranking is given to companies that have met the environmental management requirements stipulated by applicable regulations.

With this achievement, the UT Group remains committed to consistently running a business that aligns with sustainability principles. This commitment aligns with the company’s implementation of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) aspects to create positive contributions to the environment, society, and the national economy.
