Jakarta, June 29, 2024 – PT Pamapersada Nusantara (PAMA) and PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) win the Bina Mitra UMKM 2024 event award. This achievement was commemorated by the CFCD Foundation and fully supported by the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Cooperative and MSMEs, and The Employers’ Association of Indonesia (APINDO). PAMA and UT achieve this as the two companies rated as the companies that successfully supported Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) persons in increasing the rate. This reward is handed over by the CFCD Foundation representative to CSR Manager UT, Himawan Sutanto, in Binakarna Hotel Bidakara’s Auditorium.

“The achievement gained by PAMA and UT gives us a boost to contribute to the trained MSMEs in Indonesia. We believe that MSMEs progress in Indonesia can increase national economic productivity,” CSR Manager UT, Himawan Sutanto said. 

This reward is divided into three prime categories: CSR MSMEs Program, assisted MSMEs, and MSMEs companion. Each category has a different evaluation indicator and is objectively evaluated by competent judges. The evaluation process includes registration, document gathering, and program video presentation, and ends on the night of the award.

PAMA achieved a gold predicate in the category CSR program in MSMEs training. The programs that achieved this predicate are, UMKM URIB JAMU that has trained by PAMA Site KPCB, UMKM OKUSA which was trained by PAMA Site KPCS, UMKM Bukit Makmur which was trained by PAMA Site KPCT, and UMKM Dapur Ibu Jamu that has trained by PAMA Site INDO. Besides that, the best support category 1 with gold predicate was also achieved by PAMA Site KIDE with the increased public economy program in Batu Sopang dan Muara Samu Sub-district, Paser Regency, East Kalimantan.

At this event, UT followed two categories: the CSR program in MSMEs training, which is well-known with UT Business Assistance (UT-BUAS), and the MSMEs expert trained at the UT site Tanjung, Herborneo. This resulted in UT achieving a platinum predicate for the CSR program and Herbonero achieving a gold predicate.

UT-BUAS is a MSMEs empowerment program that collaborated with Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra (YDBA). This program provides intervention to UT’s trained MSMEs, which spreads in the operational company region, the revegetation region in UniTy Gunung Arjuno village, and areas affected by earthquake disasters in Lombok. The program focuses on empowering MSMEs’ subject with unique values like local wisdom, economic restoration after disaster, regeneration of MSMEs’ subject, and inclusive businessman.

Herborneo is a trained MSMEs by UT Tanjung Site expert in the production of herbal products. Currently, Herborneo can produce up to 8 tons in a month and earn a profit of 35 million rupiah. Moreover, Herborneo also trained farmers in Kalimantan to help increase the productivity and quality of their farms.

This MSMEs training embodies the program pillar United Tractors for Generating Opportunities and Wealth (UTGROWTH), which became a Company’s effort to realize substantiality to the community. The training aims to increase and develop MSMEs’ competence from the human resource aspect and product to become an individual business and develop. This is one track with UT’s commitment to continue delivering positive contributions by implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) measures. Through this training, it’s expected that UT will significantly impact Indonesia’s economic increase.
