Commitment to Implement Occupational Safety and Health, United Tractors Wins K3 Award from DKI Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Agency

Jakarta, July 21st,2023 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) is committed to prioritizing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in the company environment. Due to its commitment, UT won the 2023 K3 award from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Office of Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Disnakertrans). This award was given directly by Dr. Ir. Hari Nugroho (Head of the DKI Jakarta Province Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency) to UT’s representative, Furkon (EHS Team Member), located at the East Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD).

Head of Corporate Governance and Sustainability Sara K. Loebis emphasized that the success achieved by UT through this award is clear evidence of the Company’s seriousness in implementing K3 rules in the work environment.

UT will consistently prioritize the safety and health of our employees by implementing compliance aspects in running our business, the principles of sustainability, and through Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) implementation,” said Sara K. This award is a form of appreciation to companies that have successfully implemented OHS by applying high standards in maintaining the safety and health of their employees. The categories that UT won at this event included a zero accident award, a platinum award for the P2 COVID-19 (Covid-19 Prevention and Management) program in the workplace, and appreciation for participation in the 2023 K3 Month.

UT implements a program to prevent work-related accidents and diseases in the zero accident award category by applying golden rules, behavior-based safety (BBS), and occupational health service programs. This aligns with UT’s Triple-P Roadmap strategy on the Public Contribution Pillar.

In addition, in the P2 COVID-19 program award, UT received a platinum rating, which in this achievement is categorized as a company with a high implementation level. This proves that UT is committed to preventing and controlling COVID-19 by implementing several policies.

On the other hand, UT also participates in enlivening the Month of K3 in 2023 with the theme “Implementing a Culture of Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment in Every Line of Business to Ensure Sustainability.” This program emphasizes the Company’s commitment to prioritizing compliance aspects in conducting business.
