PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) celebrated its 52nd Anniversary on October 13, 2024, with “Synergy for the Future” as the theme. This milestone serves as a moment of reflection and appreciation for UT’s achievements and a reaffirmation of the Company’s commitment to continue collaborating and innovating for a better future. The 52nd Anniversary celebrations were held simultaneously across all UT branches and sites in Indonesia.
In his speech, UT President Director Frans Kesuma expressed gratitude and appreciation to all members of the UT Group, principals, business partners, customers, government officials, and all stakeholders for their trust and support throughout UT’s 52-year journey. All parties’ support and hard work have proven that UT can continue to grow, innovate, and significantly contribute to Indonesia.
“This journey of more than five decades is about survival, growth, learning, adaptation, and continuous innovation. With this, I again invite us to keep implementing the 3P Roadmap strategy (Portfolio, People, and Public Contribution). Let us continue to move together, with the spirit of Synergy, Growth, and Sustainability to create a better future,” said Frans Kesuma.
Fifty-two years is a long and challenging journey. It has shaped UT’s resilient character, maximizing every opportunity that arises. UT’s success in maintaining a sustainable business results from collaboration among all stakeholders and the hard work of all members of the UT Group. UT has evolved into a business group comprising five pillars: Construction Machinery, Mining Contracting, Mining, Construction Industry, and Energy.
Amidst an increasingly dynamic global environment, UT consistently pursues sustainable business development by implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. Therefore, UT continues to explore new business opportunities in sectors such as minerals and renewable energy. This is an essential step for UT in future investments, ensuring it remains relevant and competitive in the ever-changing business world.
UT’s 52nd Anniversary events included activities focused on stakeholder engagement, such as UT’s Sports & Arts Week (Porse UT). This event also serves as a platform to foster a spirit of togetherness and strengthen the ‘SOLUTION’ culture (Serve, Organized, Leading, Uniqueness, Totality, Innovative, Open-mind, Networking) within the Company.
The highlight of UT’s 52nd Anniversary celebration featured awards for outstanding UT members and affiliates, including the Best Employee Championship (BEC) for generalists and specialists, the Adibrata Award for employee innovation competitions, the Lentera Wiyata Appreciation (APRITA) for outstanding children of employees, cultural parades, and UT-supported schools that won the SOBAT Competition, among others. The peak event was held at UT Headquarters, Jakarta, on October 18, 2024.
UT is optimistic about facing future challenges by focusing on sustainable innovation, technological advancement, and synergy. Aligned with the tagline ‘Moving as One,’ the UT Group is committed to continuing its work to build the nation through the 2030 Sustainability Aspiration.
