Jakarta, July 25th, 2022 – In order to accelerate the delivery of information on sustainability, fulfill the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) commitments, and strengthen coordination between companies related to the implementation of sustainability programs, AHEMCE held a series of communication forum, namely Management Representatives (MR) Sustainability Forum on 8 July 2022 and Director in Charge (DIC) Sustainability Forum on 22 July 2022 with the theme “Collaborative and Strong Partnership for Business Sustainability”.
MR Sustainability Forum was attended by representatives of the AHEMCE Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) divisions to accelerate information deployment. The event presented Mr. Arya Dwi Paramita, Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Hulu Energi, as speaker who brought sharing on “Building Company Reputation Through ESG Communication”. Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was also conducted to discuss materiality issues of each company related to the sustainability of each field, EHS and CSR. Results of this FGD will be used for discussion during AHEMCE Pre-Annual Meeting and Annual Meeting which will be held in August – September 2022 to determine sustainability targets in 2023.
Previously, United Tractors as the parent company, has set targets for sustainability and ESG implementation in all AHEMCE business lines. Director of United Tractors, Edhie Sarwono conveyed the importance of all employees to understand the Company’s targets to jointly make a positive contribution to the nation.

As a continuation of the series of ESG communication forums, UT held the DIC Sustainability Forum attended by Directors and Person in Charge of ESG from each AHEMCE companies. This event began with a sharing session hosted by Mr. Pandu Riono, an epidemiologist from the University of Indonesia, regarding preparation for endemic in business continuity, followed by Mr. Paul Butarbutar as Co-founder of the Indonesia Research Institute for Decarbonization regarding strategies to implement decarbonization, and closed by Mr. Nur Pamudji as advisor at PT Pamapersada Nusantara regarding energy transformation.
The DIC Sustainability Forum was concluded by signing of AHEMCE Sustainability 2023 Commitment to Action. All participants were committed that AHEMCE Group should achieve the sustainability targets that have been formulated and prepare strategies and directions for the sustainability programs in 2023.
