PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), officially launches its new Vision and Mission to strengthen the Company’s strategic direction in the sustainable energy sector. This launch coincided with the Annual Management Meeting held at the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel, Surabaya, on (18/01/2025).

EPN President Director Iwan Hadiantoro and the Management conduct an in-depth study of the Company’s Vision and Mission to ensure that the Company’s business direction remains relevant to the latest and future developments in the national energy sector.

EPN Director, Boy Gemino Kalauserang, states in his speech that the new Vision and Mission are designed to accommodate the Company’s spirit of enhancing operational excellence, utilizing sustainable technology, and positively impacting the environment. “We are committed to delivering innovative and responsible energy solutions for a greener future and the best returns for stakeholders,” said Boy Gemino.

After extensive internal discussions, EPN formulates the new Vision as follows: “To become a world-class and reliable sustainable energy company through excellent operation and talented people for nation prosperity.”

ESPN’s new Mission is encapsulated in “ENERGIA,” with the following components:

The EPN Group, including PT Arkora Hydro Tbk and PT Supreme Energy Rantau Dedap (SERD) Supreme Energy, attend the inauguration. The change in Vision and Mission is crucial in addressing future challenges, seizing new opportunities, and adapting to the dynamics of global and regional conditions while demonstrating the Company’s commitment to sustainable growth.

It is hoped that the new Vision and Mission will inspire and serve as a new guideline for all EPN employees in achieving the Company’s goals. Additionally, this launch marks EPN’s commitment to addressing global challenges and capitalizing on new opportunities emerging from the energy industry’s dynamics. With a solid foundation and a sustainability-oriented business strategy, EPN is optimistic about contributing more to national energy development.

PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN) is a leading renewable energy company in Indonesia, focusing on the development and implementation of green energy technologies, including rooftop solar power plants (PLTS), off-grid hybrid solar systems (PLTS Offgrid-Hybrid), mini hydro power plants (PLTM), geothermal power plants (PLTP), waste-to-energy plants (PLTSa), and Microbial Fuel Cells. The total installed rooftop solar power capacity by EPN from 2018 to November 2024 is 27.69 MWp, with an additional 15 MWp currently under installation. For rooftop solar projects at ADM, AOP Group, and several Affco Astra locations, EPN collaborates with PLN Icon Plus, a subsidiary of PLN specializing in rooftop solar power systems.

Besides rooftop solar power, EPN is also developing off-grid microgrid hybrid systems that combine solar PV with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and diesel generators to reduce diesel fuel usage and CO2 emissions. Ongoing off-grid hybrid projects include installations at three Pama Group locations: PAMA BAYA with a capacity of 336 kWp and 60 kWh BESS, PAMA MTBU with a capacity of 615 kWp and 200 kWh BESS, KPP INDEXIM with a capacity of 369 kWp and 200 kWh BESS, PAMA BRCB with a capacity of 307 kWp and 200 kWh BESS, and PAMA TELUK TIMBAU with a capacity of 307 kWp and 200 kWh BESS. The total capacity of these projects is 1.9 MWp and 860 kWh BESS. In 2025, installations are planned for PAMA TCMM, PAMA BEKB, PAMA KIDECO, and others.

The renewable energy power plant capacity from the EPN Group includes several Mini Hydro Power Plant (PLTM) projects, with a total operational capacity of 34.4 MW and 15.4 MW under construction, as well as the Rantau Dedap Geothermal Power Plant (PLTP) with a capacity of 91.2 MW. Additionally, EPN is currently in the PPA negotiation stage for the Legok Nangka Waste-to-Energy Plant (PLTSa), with a capacity of 40 MW.
