Implementing Building Efficiency, United Tractors Won Award from the DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Agency

Bagus Setiawan, the General Affairs (GA) Manager at United Tractors (UT), and his team accepted the Building Efficiency Implementation award.

PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) has been awarded from the DKI Jakarta Province Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy (Nakertransgi) Agency in the Building Efficiency Implementation category. This achievement proves that UT continues to be committed to building a greener future by creating sustainable infrastructure through buildings located on Jalan Raya Bekasi Km. 22, Cakung, East Jakarta. The award was presented directly by the Head of the Nakertransgi Agency, Hari Nugroho, to UT’s General Affairs (GA) Manager UT, Bagus Setiawan, at the Equestrian Ballroom, Jakarta International Equestrian Park, Wednesday (30/10/2024).

GA Manager UT Bagus Setiawan said that this initiative is one of the corporate strategies to overcome global warming and the Company’s initiative to prioritize environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles.

“We would like to express our gratitude for the Department of Nakertransgi Agency award to UT. This award is an achievement for the company because of its commitment to providing the best facilities through the construction of buildings that positively impact reducing gas emissions and employee comfort. Through this award, it further motivates us to make a positive contribution to the environment,” Bagus Setiawan said.

UT won this award because it was assessed as a private company implementing energy efficiency activities in East Jakarta. The assessment indicators for this category consist of aspects of energy savings in the value of electricity consumption intensity (IKE), recommendations from ministries and institutions related to energy efficiency, efforts to save, including task forces, energy management policies, standard operating procedures (SOP), maintenance, campaigns, and use of energy-saving equipment with minimum performance standards (SKEM) on office air conditioners.

This achievement is a form of appreciation from UT for its efforts in implementing energy efficiency and using New Renewable Energy (EBT) while still maximizing the health and comfort of the workspace. This is consistent with UT’s commitment to supporting the sustainability of the company’s business. Through this achievement, it is hoped that UT will continue strengthening green initiatives throughout its operations to realize a better future.
