For its consistency in prioritizing the implementation of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in the company environment, PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) has been awarded the 2024 Zero Accident Award from the Ministry of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemnaker). This award was presented in person through the DKI Jakarta Provincial Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Office (Disnakertrans) at the Tavia Hotel Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta (13/09/2024).
“We would like to express our gratitude for the award given by the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower to UT. This award further motivates us to realize the Company’s sustainable goals in implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) through improving employee safety and health standards,” said UT Environment, Health, and Safety Department Head, Erika Pratiwi.
The assessment indicators in this award are the absence of work accident incidents resulting in death or permanent disability, the Company’s success in implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), the ability to manage and report every accident incident quickly and accurately, and the Company’s consistent efforts in improving working conditions to prevent accidents.
This is an appreciation event for companies that have created an accident-free workplace through the implementation of K3 and practiced good work time management to improve employee productivity and welfare.
It is hoped that through this award, UT will consistently prioritize employee welfare, inspiring other companies to prioritize the implementation of K3 values. This is consistent with the Company’s mission to make a positive impact via sustainable and ethical business practices and sound corporate governance.
