July 11, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) is honored at the 2024 Derap Kerja Sama Jakarta (DKJ) Awards in the health category. UT receives the award for its consistent efforts in addressing stunting issues through the Transforming Undernutrition to Thriving and Sustainable (TUNTAS) program. The DKI Jakarta’s Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, presented the award to UT’s CSR Manager, Himawan Sutanto, at DKI Jakarta City Hall.
“UT expresses its gratitude for the award given by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov). This award motivates us to make more contributions to stunting rate reduction. The accelerated reduction of stunting is a positive step towards developing a high-quality and highly competitive workforce. Hereafter, UT will remain committed to improving public health, with a particular focus on eradicating and preventing stunting in DKI Jakarta,” said Himawan Sutanto.
This award is divided into three main categories: Community Empowerment, Health, and Environment. Three assessment indicators are considered for winning this award, including those related to the value of sustainability, innovation, and the range of the program’s positive impact on society.
The jury that assessed this event included the Head of the Communications and Public Services Bureau of the Ministry of Health, dr. Siti Nadia Tarmizi, M. Epid; Head of DKI Jakarta Health Service, drg. Ani Ruspitawati, M.M; and Fertility and Endocrinology and Gynecology Consultant, Dr. Boy Abidin, Sp.OG (K).
The event began with socialization and registration on June 4, 2024, attended by 138 registrants, including business entities, institutions, and foundations. After that, 33 company nominees were successfully shortlisted after the June 5, 2024 program presentation. The next phase involved judging, which took place on June 10th and 11th, 2024. The following stages are interviews, presentations, and questions and answers regarding the program, which will be held on June 14, 2024, at the Borobudur Hotel, Central Jakarta. At the final stage, there were 15 company nominees from all categories.
UT’s TUNTAS program won the award in the Health category. TUNTAS is the Company’s initiative to reduce and prevent stunting in Ring 1 areas such as West Cakung, Penggilingan, and Rawa Terate. This program involves collaboration with various parties, including health practitioners, community health centers, Posyandu cadres, and the local community. The final result of this program is providing education and nutritional assistance to pregnant women, toddlers, and families.
TUNTAS program embodies the pillars of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) program in the health sector, namely UT for Community Health Responsibility (UTCARE), which is the Company’s effort to increase access to health services for the community. The DKJ Awards is an award for business entities that have participated in helping the Provincial Government through the company’s CSR program. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government organized this award as part of the celebration of Jakarta’s 497th Anniversary.
By receiving this award, UT will continue to innovate and develop CSR programs for the community, especially in the health sector. It will also continue to make positive contributions to society’s welfare and sustainability by implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) aspects.
