Jakarta, June 6, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in education (UTFUTURE), organized the SOBAT Competition 2024 webinar. This webinar was held online via Zoom Meetings and carried the theme “Creating an Ecosystem and Culture that Supports Innovation among Young Generations.” The webinar was a part of the SOBAT Competition pre-event series, aimed at socializing the competition and providing coaching clinics with experts on implementing an innovation culture. The event was attended by 335 participants, including students, teachers, and lecturers from SOBAT schools, vocational schools/high schools, and universities spread throughout Indonesia.
SOBAT Competition 2024 is an inter-vocational school competition that aims to improve the competence of the vocational world through innovation and prepare young generations to compete in the workforce. The series of events consisted of remarks by UT’s CSR Leader, Dimas Aryo Wicaksono, followed by presentations by several speakers, including the Head of Master of Mechanical Engineering at Swiss German University (SGU), Dena Hendriana, on developing an innovative culture; SOBAT Advisor, Wikan Sakarinto, on how to foster creativity and innovation; and the Director of Manpower at the Ministry of National Development Planning (BAPPENAS), Nur Hygiawati Rahayu, on the field of manpower. The event was closed with a question and answer session, documentation, and prize giving.
It is hoped that the implementation of the SOBAT Competition 2024 webinar will increase the interest of young generations in competing and open up opportunities for them to innovate so that they can make a positive contribution to Indonesia in the future.
