Jakarta, May 31, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) has again been recognized as the best workplace in Asia at the 2024 HR Asia Best Companies To Work for in Asia event organized by Business Media International (BMI). This award was given to UT for its success in fostering a culture of sustainability by creating a positive work environment and prioritizing employee welfare.

The award was presented in person by the Group Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Business Media International, Datuk William NG, to the Human Capital and Sustainability Director, Edhie Sarwono; Corporate Human Capital and Corporate University Division Head, Abun Jufar Jaya; and Organization Productivity and Cost Control Department Head, Nurdiansyah Budiman, at the Ritz Carlton Pacific Place Hotel.

In this award, UT won three categories: the Best Companies to Work for in Asia 2024, the HR Asia Sustainable Workplace Award 2024, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Award 2024. The Best Workplace in Asia category demonstrates UT’s consistent attention to employee welfare, health, and balance. The Sustainable Workplace category signifies the Company’s responsibility towards the environment and sustainable business practices, promoting eco-friendly innovation and positively impacting the environment and society. Lastly, the DEI category highlights UT’s commitment to creating an inclusive and equitable work environment through a culture of empathy and care. The assessment process for this award involved comprehensive steps, including online surveys of employees, office visits, presentations, and audits.

BMI is an international publication media institution for professionals in the Human Resources (HR) field that measures how companies implement HR practices by demonstrating high levels of employee engagement and excellent workplace culture.
