Jakarta, March 24, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) with several business entities such as Yayasan Karya Bakti United Tractors (YKBUT), PT Kanitra Mitra Jayautama (KAMAJU), PT Global Service Indonesia (GSI), PT Mitra Bakti United Tractors (MBUT), PT Kanitra Mitra Jayautama (KANITRA), and the Indonesian Heavy Equipment Professional Certification Institute (LSP ABI) enlivened the holy month of Ramadan by organizing a series of UT Festival Ramadan 1445 H/2024 activities. One of the main events in this festival is the Religious Skills Competition (LOKETA) and Ramadan Recitation, which successfully attracted the attention and participation of the community.
LOKETA is an important moment to improve the knowledge and skills of children about Islam. Meanwhile, the Ramadan Recitation with the theme “The Art of Raising Children in Islam’s Eyes” aims to provide motivation and guidance to parents in raising children according to Islamic values.
The participants in this activity were from UT’s Ring 1 community development program, including 130 participants who attended the Ramadan Recitation and 103 other participants who took part in LOKETA. The event was held at the Al-Furqaan Mosque.
The Ramadan Recitation was enlivened by an inspirational speaker, Karina Hakman, a homeschooler mom who raises three children (aged 4, 8, and 9), as well as the author of Bumi Hijrah, and an Islamic Parenting Enthusiast. The material presented by Karin provided valuable insights to the participants in carrying out their role as parents based on Islamic teachings.
LOKETA event also featured stunning performances from the participants, who showcased their skills and knowledge in the Islamic field. At the end of the event, prizes were distributed to LOKETA participants as a token of appreciation for their participation and achievements.
