Jakarta, May 17, 2024 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) held the 2024 AHEMCE Executive Gathering at the Grand Ballroom, UT Head Office. This event was organized as a platform for networking and sharing the latest updates related to AHEMCE. The theme was “Spirit of Collaboration, Increasing Efficiency and Productivity in Facing Upcoming Business Situations.” The event was attended by the Board of Directors (BOD) and Board of Commissioners (BOC) of AHEMCE and Division Heads of UT and PAMA.

In his speech, UT President Director Frans Kesuma stated that current business volatility and uncertainty are full of challenges but also provide opportunities for growth and innovation and encourage the Company to seek new paths to success. The spirit of continuing efficiency and maintaining productivity must be instilled throughout AHEMCE. Additionally, inter-company collaboration and business diversification must continue as efforts to keep growing in the future.

Considering the challenges and complexities of business and operations, a code of conduct foundation is needed to strengthen the achievement of SDGs at AHEMCE. The AHEMCE DEI Policy must also be implemented as a guide in achieving workforce diversity, creating equality across the system, and fostering and advancing a culture of inclusion.

The work ethics we need to observe together include employees’ attitudes within the Company and issues related to the Company’s confidential information, creating a conducive work environment, and relationships among employees, whether as superiors or subordinates within the Company. Additionally, business ethics concerning internal and external parties such as customers, business partners, competitors, employees, shareholders, prospective investors, affiliate companies, government officials, the community, and the media must be observed together, especially to avoid conflicts of interest, corruption practices, monopolies, equal opportunities, and strengthening cooperation between parties.

The event included presentations of the results of the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS), updates on the organizational structure, presentations of the new BOD and BOC composition resulting from the 2024 AGMS, introductions of the new BOD, presentations on work and business ethics, presentations on the AHEMCE DEI policy, and appreciation for retiring executives. Additionally, the event featured a choir performance by students from SMKN 1 Adiwerna, a school fostered by UT (SOBAT). This event is hoped to strengthen relationships and cooperation among companies. Additionally, the spirit of collaboration can be nurtured to jointly face the challenges of 2024 and beyond.
