Jakarta, October 13, 2023 – PT United Tractors Tbk (UT) celebrates its 51st Anniversary with the theme “Berkarya Membangun Keberlanjutan.” At this age, UT is committed to continuing sustainable business practices to build a better future for Indonesia and have a positive impact on the community. The 51st UT Anniversary celebration is held simultaneously at all UT branches and job sites.

Amidst a rapidly changing global landscape, UT remains unwavering in its dedication to sustainable business growth. As a result, UT consistently seeks out avenues for expansion in emerging sectors like minerals and renewable energy. This is a critical measure for UT to maintain a pertinent and competitive standing in the constantly evolving business sphere.

Furthermore, enhancing the competencies of all UT Group members is a key focus in pursuing new opportunities. This includes developing relevant skills to adapt to changing business and industry landscapes, gaining a deep understanding of new technologies, fostering a sustainable innovation culture, promoting agility, and fostering strategic collaborations.

Over the course of fifty-one years, UT has faced and overcome numerous challenges. The credit for UT’s success in maintaining sustainable business operations goes to the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders and the hard work of everyone within the UT Group. Today, UT has transformed into a business conglomerate with five primary areas of operation: Construction Machinery, Mining Contractors, Mining, Construction Industry, and Energy, employing approximately 37,000 individuals.

The 51st UT Anniversary celebration includes various activities focused on stakeholder engagement, such as the UT Sports & Arts Week (Porse UT), serving as a platform to foster unity and reinforce the company’s ‘SOLUTION’ culture (Serve, Organized, Leading, Uniqueness, Totality, Innovative, Open-mind, Networking).

The celebration also includes the UT Inspiring Games, which comprise table tennis matches between UT and special athletes supported by UT, as well as Speed Chess and a Coaching Clinic with two UT-supported chess athletes, Novendra Priasmoro (Grand Master) and Aditya Bagus Arfan (International Master). The event also features self-development forums through UT Talks with the theme “Embracing the Future with Gratitude,” featuring Aulia Iskandarsyah, M.Psi., Msc., Ph.D.

At the 51st UT Anniversary event, several awards were presented to recognize outstanding employees and supported individuals. These included the Best Employee Championship awards in both generalist and specialist categories, the Adibrata Award for innovation competitions, the Lentera Wiyata Appreciation (APRITA) for exceptional children of UT employees, and recognition for UT-supported schools that won the SOBAT Competition, etc.

Aligned with the motto “Moving as One,” UT is dedicated to making significant contributions to society through the Sustainability Aspiration 2030. This commitment is UT Group’s pledge to transition towards a more sustainable and resilient business model, which would have a positive impact on the environment, climate, business, and society.
